Aquaman: Opening in theaters on Friday, Wonder Woman is set primarily during World War I, causing some to wonder if James Wan’s Aquaman, based on the DC Comics character (above), will take place before or after events in the upcoming Justice League. Producer Charles Roven says: “Aquaman will make reference [to Justice League]. There will be some reference of something that preceded Aquaman that will be in Aquaman. Boo 2! A Madea Halloween: Tyler Perry’s modestly-budgeted Boo! A Madea Halloween (above) proved to be a big success when it was released last October, topping the box office charts during its first two weeks of release and ultimately earning more than $73 million.
