Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle: The upcoming new version of a family favorite revealed its new title along with its surprising premise. Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle stars Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Karen Gillan and Kevin Hart; Johnson, it turns out, plays a teen nerd who has been transformed into a muscular character when he begins playing a video game that transports him to a jungle. Another character is a popular girl who is dismayed to find herself transformed into Jack Black. [THR]

Justice League VR: We can look forward to seeing “premium, interactive” virtual reality experiences based on the forthcoming movies Justice League, Aquaman and a third, yet-to-be-announced title. Aaron Sorkin

Aaron Sorkin: Asked if he would ever be interested in writing a comic book movie, Aaron Sorkin (above), who won an Academy Award for writing The Social Network, acknowledged that he has “meetings coming up with both DC and Marvel and I have gone into these meetings and tell them as respectfully as I can that I’ve never read a comic book. It’s not that I don’t like them, it’s just that I’ve never been exposed to one. So, I’m hoping that somewhere in their library is a comic book character that I’m gonna love.” []
