The current sanitation situation in Haiti presents significant challenges, particularly in urban areas where waste management systems are underdeveloped. Our initiative seeks to address these challenges by implementing innovative waste management solutions, including recycling and waste-to-energy conversion.

This project will focus on cleaning streets, promoting proper waste disposal, and reinforcing landfills to prevent groundwater contamination. By leveraging plastic waste for fuel conversion and controlled indoor burning to generate energy, we aim to reduce waste while providing an environmentally sustainable energy source.

The initiative will offer a starting salary of $600 USD monthly to workers, a competitive wage in the Caribbean region. Our goal is to create jobs, improve infrastructure, and contribute to Haiti's long-term environmental sustainability.

Future Goals for Haiti's Sanitation System

The next phase of the project includes expanding the initiative to more regions, including rural areas, where sanitation systems are even more underdeveloped. We plan to build additional waste-to-energy plants and expand recycling programs to increase the environmental impact.

Building Partnerships for a Cleaner Future

Collaboration with local government, international NGOs, and the Haitian diaspora is crucial for the success of this initiative. We aim to engage the diaspora in helping fund and support this project, enabling Haiti to achieve long-term sanitation goals.
